Who we are
The Endwell Preschool has been a mission of Endwell Methodist Church for over 55 years.
In May of 1967 the Education Commission recommended that the church sponsor a weekday nursery school, providing room, utilities, space and use of equipment. $315 was set aside to pay two teachers and for supplies per month. By 1990 there was a separate school board who reported to the Church Council. The board continues today. The majority of the members are members of EUMC. The Director reports to the Administration Council monthly. In 2008-2009 we started a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program through a grant with Maine-Endwell CSD and the state.
We are non-profit; we have a 3 year-old program and a 4 year-old program. Our paid staff consists of our Director/UPK teacher, a lead Teacher, three assistant teachers, lunch coverage/floater as well as substitutes. We have a Board of Directors that provides leadership to the school. We are blessed to have graduated over 1000 children from our school.
Our families are invited to church activities such as Vacation Bible School, Breakfast with the Bunny, Trunk or Treat, etc.
